Recreation Centre:

•  3-MCHP units producing 45 kWe   max. and up to 135 kW of heat.
•  They are used to provide most of   the electrical demand.
•  Heat 2 swimming pools, the large   building.
•  Provides domestic hot water for   washing and showers.

•  MCHP units are linked to 5 hot water   tanks.
•  This allows heat from the hot water   tanks to be used when the electrical   demand is low.
•  Pipes are well insulated to ensure   minimal heat loss.
•  Next to the MCHP units is the boiler   that is now back-up only.
